About 5 hours ago I got an email alert saying the sensor to the exterior door has ALSO stopped communicating with the base station. so it’s unlikely this is a battery issue with the keypad and sensor.The Base Station should announce "Glassbreak Sensor" and the timeline on the SimpliSafe® App should show "Glassbreak Sensor Test". If the Test Mode step does not work, it's possible that your sensor has been offline for too long. The best step would be to remove the sensor from the SimpliSafe® App and then add it back to your system.So it's not really about the size, and more about how much heat they can give off (and of course, things that are closer may appear bigger to the sensor as well).
