I did a welded carrier. If I did it again I would mill the top off of a MP5K carrier. The SP5 and SP5K are a different shelf than the 90 series which was the final straw for ditching them. I went SP89 for a MP5K-N. 94s for a MP5-N and MP5SD-N.Not a big deal in semi, but does make a big deal in auto. They also, IMO, feel cheaper. You can shoot a slightly wider range of ammo in a UMP, but the MP5 will suppress better and feel more comfortable. We have authentic F/A H&K MP5’s and UMP’s at our rental range, the MP5 in my opinion is a vastly superior SMG.Jul 16, 2020 · SP5 is sold as a pistol. My final thoughts on the Century Arms AP5 are quite simple. This gun, for the money, is the closest and best you’re going to get to an HK MP5 or their latest civilian model, the SP5.
