That really only matters if you want to mount some kind of magnified optic though, as you can mount even a pretty large red dot or holographic sight on the rear sight or gas tube of the m85.Tips for over-gassed AK. I was originally going to put in a stronger recoil spring but now I'm thinking about the KNS gas piston because I'm worried about my rear trunnion.You should be able to ring steel at that distance with decent consistency. Keep in mind that 7.62 has quite a bit more drop than 5.56 ad well. The M70 is built like a tank, and takes various mags much easier than the Jack (MY Jack has trouble accepting polymer mags for some reason). Personally, I like the M70 more.
