It sounds like the upper valve is leaking and it makes it look like the cap is over full because it leaks down the side and right on to the cap. Replace the O ring that seals the valve. I have a 95 chevy 2500 HD pickup with a rebuilt 350 engine it has had a new waterpump, thermostat and hoses. The only thing i reused was the radiator. I also have a belt driven minuite mount plow with a 8 foot HD plow. I put the plow on to move and on the way my truck overheated.I know from having both personally that goin from a 1/2 ton to a 3/4 ton you get alot more truck with the 3/4 ton. But I can buy 1/2 tons so much less then 3/4 so hence why I am asking. I figured I would put poly plows on them to save on weight on the front ends.
