There are only a few bolts to remove. Use a Hex bit screwdriver to remove the two large bolts on the outside of the air filter housing.Tighten to 55-60 in-lbs (6.2-6.8 Nm). Carefully remove and discard the original air cleaner cover insert from air cleaner cover (A). Remove any residual adhesive on the cover with mineral spirits. My Evo with a CV is really hard starting. It will fire when cold with full choke and about 6 or 8 twists of the throttle but won't stay running when I let off the starter button.
